Skip Lunch Feed A Bunch is a one-day Capital Area Food Bank initiative that asks you to
donate the equivalent of what you'd normally spend on lunch to help feed
the region’s kids and their families. Participants are not asked to fast.
In 2008, over $33,000 was raised; enough to serve nearly 99,000 meals.
This year we're asking DC's creative and tech community to step up to the challenge as one united group to help fight hunger. Here's what you can do:
1) Donate your lunch money above
2) Donate social capital: Click to Tweet This, Click to Post to Facebook, or blog about this!
3) If the creative/tech community collectively generates the most donations we'll all be featured on Fox 5 News (we'll need to let everyone know where to meet)
